Meet Our Veterinarians

Rob Harner, DVM

Dr. Harner completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine and received his D.V.M. from the University of California, Davis. His professional interests include preventive medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, geriatrics, dermatology, dentistry, and ophthalmology. Compassion and medical knowledge, combined with a strong focus on client education, form the basis of his practice philosophy. Dr. Harner looks forward to playing an integral role in maintaining the health and happiness of your pet.

Chad Maki, DVM

Dr. Maki earned his B.S. degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. He worked extensively in the field of stem cell research in Irvine prior to pursuing his D.V.M. at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Since completing his veterinary program he has moved back to Orange County with his wife and newborn son. He is a member of AVMA, CVMA and RCVS. Dr. Maki sees your pet as a family member and strives to provide the utmost care and compassion with an emphasis on high quality veterinary medicine.

Tannaz Hasnat, DVM

Dr. Hasnat attended the University of California, San Diego where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. She then went on to work in immunology research for two years before making the leap over the pond to pursue veterinary medicine at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Studying abroad gave her opportunity to gain experience in a range of areas whether it be lambing at the Scottish borders to spay and neuter clinics in Cyprus to working with safari animals in South Africa. She is accredited to work in North America and the United Kingdom. Dr. Hasnat’s professional interests include preventive care and soft tissue surgery.

On her time off, she enjoys traveling to places near and far, exercising, trying new foods ,and spending time at the beach with her 10-year-old poodle mix, Samosa. She looks forward to collaborating with you to ensure your pets live long, healthy, and happy lives!​

Elizabeth Caldwell, DVM

Dr. Caldwell earned her undergraduate degree in Zoology from Kent State University in Ohio before moving to Scotland for veterinary school. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2015 and then moved to Southern California. Her professional interests include internal medicine and ultrasonography.

In her free time Dr. Caldwell enjoys spending time at the beach with her 10 year old lab mix, Phoebe, as well as traveling, reading and going to the gym. Dr. Caldwell enjoys developing long-term relationships with her clients and their pets and looking forward to working with you to keep your pets happy and healthy. ​

Sabrina Keigley, DVM

Dr. Sabrina Keigley is joining the Irvine Pet Complex family as Medical Director in April 2019!  She originally hails from the hills of Clarksburg West Virginia (you may on occasion note a little southern drawl) and has a B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Science from West Virginia University (1998). She is also proud to be a 2002 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine!  Go Buckeyes!  Dr. Keigley has worked in small animal general practice and has practiced in Bethlehem, PA; Morgantown, WV; and has spent 9 years practicing in Cleveland, Ohio prior to migrating to Orange County.  She has additional training in Practice Management, including the Ohio Veterinary Leadership Institute and via working under Marsha Heinke, DVM, CPA for four years at a suburban Cleveland practice.

Dr. Keigley has a holistic as well as conventional background which makes Orange County a perfect fit!  In addition to traditional state-of-the art veterinary medicine, Dr. Keigley has a special interest in the use of rehabilitation, western herbs, nutritional/food therapy, acupuncture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine as a resource for total pet care.

Dr. Keigley enjoys spending time with her two sons and her one cat relaxing playing video games, watching action flicks, and going for hikes.  She also spends a fair amount of free time training for competitive bodybuilding, even gaining two athletic sponsors and branching out into fitness modeling.

Boram Lee, DVM

Dr. Lee graduated from the University of California, Davis, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. After graduation, she worked in a small animal practice in the Bay Area before she moved to Orange County in 2019. Her primary interests now include preventative care, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. She is originally from South Korea and fluent in Korean and English. During her downtime, she enjoys visiting nearby beaches, exercising (yoga, kickboxing, crossfit), and spending time with her husband, and their dog, Gorby.

Dr. Lee is excited to meet clients and their beloved pets in Irvine and provide her best care for them.
