Our clients always want to put their pets' health above financial concerns. But as important as regular preventive care can be for your pet's health, it can still sometimes be difficult to manage these recurring expenses.
Our Wellness Plans 'bundles' all the preventive services that keep your pet healthy throughout the year into an easy monthly payment plan, helping you save money and manage your budget.
Our Pet Wellness Plans for cats, dogs, ferrets, small mammals, birds, and reptiles in Irvine include the essentials for your pet to thrive.
Our Plans include annual and 6-month wellness exams, core vaccinations, bloodwork, and heartworm testing. They will also include a fecal exam and a 12-month supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medications.
Routine wellness exams are a complete health check for your pet. They allow us to find and treat any emerging health issues and check on your pet’s diet to ensure they’re getting enough daily nutrients.
Pets can often appear healthy, but the early signs of disease lurk within their bodies - sometimes with no obvious symptoms. That’s why we run bloodwork to ensure they’re in tip-top shape.
For pets of any size or breed parasites can be deadly if left untreated. Prevention provides the best protection, which is why we provide a 12-month supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medication with every Wellness Plan.
If your pet does become infected, our fecal exams and heartworm tests are designed to catch these life-threatening conditions, which are often undetectable until your pet gets seriously ill.
Below are a few of the common questions clients ask about our Pet Wellness Plans.
Yes, you can pay for the full year when you sign up for your Dog or Cat Wellness Plan.
An additional $35 one-time membership fee is collected upon enrollment.
Yes, unless you request that we cancel your plan, it will renew automatically each year.
Your payment information (credit card) is entered into a secure portal when you sign up for your plan. You can choose the withdrawal date between the 1st and 15th of each month that's best for you.
Preventive and routine care for pets is important but the cost can add up quickly.
Our Pet Wellness Plans offer you an easy-to-manage monthly payment option so that you know exactly what your core pet care will cost each month. No surprises.
By spreading out the payments, wellness plans help avoid the problem of bigger bills each time you bring your pet into the vet.
When you sign up multiple pets at the same time, you will only pay the one-time $35 enrolment fee once (not for each pet).
As your pet grows older monitoring their general health and keeping an eye out for age-related conditions is essential. Visiting your vet regularly for routine exams included in your pet's Wellness Plan allows your vet to monitor your aging dog or cat's health and provide proactive treatments to help retain your pet's good health and pain-free mobility throughout their senior years.
Regular preventive veterinary care for young animals can help build a foundation for good life-long health. When you sign your pet up for a Wellness Plan as a puppy or kitten, puppy/kitten vaccinations are included in the monthly fee.
If your pet passes away during your 12-month commitment, we will cancel the plan immediately.
While both Wellness Plans and pet insurance help you manage the costs of your pet's veterinary care, the types of veterinary services they cover are different.
Wellness Plans include preventive care costs (things like vaccinations and routine exams), while Pet Insurance is designed to cover emergency services, accidents, or specific illnesses.
At Irvine Pet Hospital we offer Pet Wellness Plans for small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, extra-large dogs, giant dogs, and cats.
Wellness plans cover the routine care that all cats and dogs need (core vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, and more). You will also receive a 10% discount on any other service your pet needs, excluding food and grooming.
